REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 21 Years of Age.

• Must have passed OTS & OCC.

• Must be at least Commander.

• Must be mature enough to deal with groups of people diplomatically.

DUTIES:

(Note: The following duties are also shared between the CO, XO, SO)

• Assume Command of Chapter when CO is unavailable.

• Implementing the Captain’s (CO) Orders/Requests.

• Act as proxy and submit SFI MSR (Monthly Status Report) to Starfleet Admiralty if CO/XO are unavail.
  (MSR must be filed via db.sfi.org between 1st & 5th of each month)

• Advise the Commanding Officer of issues & possible solutions among the crew.

• Public Relations.

• Organize Events/Conventions.

• Collection of funds for Events/Projects.

• Recruiting, Orientation, Retention.

• Part of Promotion Review Board.

• Assist with monitoring members years of service for certificate issuing.

• Helps keep the Commanding Officer sane.
