REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 21 Years of Age.

• Must have passed OTS & OCC.

• Must be at least Lieutenant Commander.

• Must be mature enough to deal with groups of people diplomatically.

• Must get approval by Command Officer & Executive Officer before you get this position.

DUTIES:

​

• Assume Command of Chapter when CO & XO, SO are unavailable.

• Implementing the Captain’s (CO), Executive Officer’ (XO) or Second Officer''s Orders/Requests.

• Act as proxy and submit SFI MSR (Monthly Status Report) to Starfleet Admiralty if CO/XO/SO are unavailable.
  (MSR must be filed via db.sfi.org between 1st & 5th of each month)

• Advise the Commanding Officer, Executive Officer of issues & possible solutions among the crew.

• Public Relations.

• Head of Operation Dept.

• Recruiting, Orientation, Retention.

• Part of Promotion Review Board.

• Assist with monitoring members years of service for certificate issuing.

• Update and Monitor USS Magellan Website and USS Magellan Twitter Accounts.
